Cookie policy
Last updated 2026-10-31.
A cookie is a small text file saved by your browser. We use the fewest cookies the service needs to work, and nothing for advertising or cross-site tracking. The cookie consent banner at the bottom of the page lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies (we currently use none).
Strictly-necessary cookies (always set)
- connect.sid (dashboard) · session cookie that keeps a signed-in shop owner / agent logged in. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax. Expires on sign-out or after 7 days.
- yamam_lang (public site) · remembers your language choice (English / Arabic). SameSite=Lax, 1 year.
Browser storage (not cookies, but similar)
- sessionStorage.tcp_sid (shop sites, set by the chat widget) · a per-tab anonymous id so a shopper's messages in one browsing session join into one conversation. Cleared when the tab closes.
- sessionStorage.tcp_session_<botId> (shop sites) · the chat the shopper is currently having, so they can scroll it after a page reload. Cleared when the tab closes.
- localStorage.yamam_cookie_consent (public site) · remembers whether you accepted or declined the consent banner.
- localStorage on the dashboard · remembered filters and the collapsed state of panels. No personal data.
Third-party cookies
When a shop's bot renders a product card from Shopify, the shopper's browser loads an image from Shopify's CDN; Shopify may set its own cookies on their domain under their rules. We don't share identifiers with them.
Managing cookies
Clear the banner's choice from your browser's site settings and reload to see the banner again. Disabling strictly-necessary cookies will break sign-in; your browser's settings explain how.
Changes
If we add a new cookie we update this page and reset the consent banner so you can review again.
